Even in the throes of challenging times that may lie ahead, these memories will shine as beacons of joy and solace, reminding us that beauty and happiness can endure. As we navigate the trials of the future, we will draw strength from these cherished experiences, using them as a lantern to guide us through the darkest of nights.
Amidst the chaos and baffling phase of my research life, I decided to take a break and have a solo trip to the foothills of the Himalayas, in a small village called Jayanti, a 30 km ride from my adobe, that became my haven. Hosted by a local villager in his own home, I had a unique experience as my first trip alone and submitting myself to the eternal peace ahead. Cutoff from my research works and internet, , I engaged in countless heart-to-heart exchanges with the indigenous villagers. Moreover, a memorable trek to the revered "Choto Mahakal," a sacred sanctuary for Hindus nestled in the foothills, crowning my journey with a profound sense of spiritual fulfillment that resonated deeply within me.
A deep feeling of being enforced to act according to the present cruel society, where the injustice is prevelent among us humans, resents in me. Let us all live in peace, setting aside the boundaries of hate, societal anomalies to find our true self, the cause of our existence.
Let's imprint these moments deep within our minds, to be a source of solace and inspiration in the face of adversity that the future might bring. They shall stand as our unwavering reminder that even amidst trials, there's a reservoir of happiness we can always access.
This snapshot was captured in Jayanti, right after the conclusion of our trek, as we made our way back to our humble huts, the essence of the journey lingering in the air.
